Today, Trusty is the trusted way to share your wishes. Over time, our vision is to simplify how wealth is understood, safeguarded, and passed on for generations.

How do I get access to Trusty?

You can purchase Trusty on the Apple and Google app stores. Access to Trusty is also available through invite codes, typically offered by estate lawyers, wealth advisors, financial institutions, or insurance providers. Many advisors include Trusty as part of their services, either complimentary or at a discounted rate. Check with your advisor to see if they provide access to the platform.

How much does Trusty cost on the App Stores?

Trusty is free to download, and you can explore its core features at no cost. The Unlimited upgrade can be purchased as a one-time in-app purchase on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Pricing is $249 CAD, $199 USD, and may vary in other countries based on local rates. For the most accurate price, it’s always best to check directly in the app store for your region.

Are discounts available?

Yes. Trusty partners with estate lawyers, wealth advisors, insurance providers, and other professionals to offer discounted or fully covered access codes. Check with your provider for details and have them contact us.

What are the minimum device requirements for Trusty?

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by selecting 'Forgot Password' on the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

Trusty supports over 20 categories of personal valuables, whether it’s something with significant monetary value or a priceless family heirloom. You can track items like art, watches, motor vehicles, jewelry, wine collections, and more.

Estate documents like Wills, insurance policies, and Powers of Attorney can also be uploaded, giving you and your loved ones a complete, organized view of your estate—all in one secure place.

How does the AI asset capture feature work for personal assets?

Simply take a photo of your luxury item, and Trusty's AI known as Max in the app will identify, categorize, and organize it within the app, minimizing manual entry. The process is seamless and precise.

Can I track asset valuations?

Yes. Trusty allows you to monitor the value of your assets over time and keep appraisals up to date, ensuring an accurate understanding of your valuables.

How does Trusty simplify document management?

Trusty uses AI-powered tools to create smart summaries of your most important estate documents, such as Wills, life insurance policies, and powers of attorney. The platform also offers a conversational Q&A feature to clarify their details, making complex documents easy to understand.

To make the process even more seamless, the app sends a secure email to your inbox for easy upload. Simply reply to that email with the documents attached, and Trusty will automatically store them securely, summarize their contents, and provide actionable insights. Everything is integrated back into your digital safe for easy access and clear wishes.

Estate Planning

Can I assign heirs to my assets?

Absolutely. Trusty enables you to assign heirs to specific assets directly within the app. You can also add notes or record a video with detailed instructions for each heir.

How does Trusty integrate with my Will?

Your digital records in Trusty can complement your legal Will by serving as an addendum. We’ll provide the necessary documentation for your lawyer to incorporate Trusty into your Will, making it the ultimate source for where your wishes are stored. While legal recognition may vary by location, using Trusty ensures your intentions are clearly documented, reducing the risk of misinterpretation.

What is Legacy Access?

There may be people you prefer to have access to only once you pass. Legacy Access lets you securely designate a contact to only gain access to your vault of documents, wishes, and media in the event of a specified trigger—such as your passing or incapacitation. You control exactly when and how they gain access by setting up your trigger conditions and notification preferences in advance.

How do my heirs learn about my wishes?

When your Legacy Access trigger occurs, we’ll share a bundle of your information with the contact. Additionally, we will notify your designated Heirs about Trusty via email. Everything is organized into clear, step-by-step sections so your heirs know exactly what you intended and what actions to take first. Our interactive heir portal is coming soon.

Can I add my estate team?

Yes! Trusty lets you invite professionals (attorneys, financial advisors, executors, etc.) as part of your contacts. Simply go to the Contacts section of your dashboard, enter their email addresses, and assign each person a role (contact, editor, or legacy access, with viewer coming soon).

Why not just detail personal asset assignments in my Will?

While you can include personal and valuable assets in your Will, most people update their Wills far less frequently than they acquire new assets. Trusty allows you to keep your asset assignments up to date in real-time. Additionally, once a Will is probated, it becomes a public document. Keeping some asset details outside your official Will, securely managed within Trusty, ensures greater privacy while still providing clear guidance to your estate team and heirs.
